Emily Sehlaoui, CPA

Emily began working for Jones & Roth in 2017. Previously, Emily started her public accounting career at a mid-size firm in her home state of Kansas before moving out west to Oregon.

Emily’s primary work includes tax planning and preparation for individuals as well as small & mid-size businesses. She also is an active member is the firms Retirement Plan Audit team and leads a handful of the firms employee benefits plan audits. Additionally, she has knowledge and experience in working with family businesses.

Outside of working and chasing around her small child, she enjoys spending quality time with friends and family, which may include camping, hiking or just watching a movie. Her favorite self-care act is settling into a comfy position to read a good science fiction or fantasy novel.

Interestingly, because Emily grew up on a farm in a small town in southwest Kansas, she actually learned how to drive a tractor before she learned how to drive a motor vehicle.
