Sara Hummel, CPA

Sara Hummel serves as Partner and Director of Quality Management & Assurance Services at Jones & Roth, helping ensure the firm’s audit and assurance practice maintains the highest standards of quality, consistency, and professional excellence. She is passionate about developing strong processes, supporting team member growth, and fostering a culture of continuous learning that benefits both clients and the firm. 

As the firm’s Quality Management Director, Sara oversees assurance quality standards, staff training and education, financial statement reporting processes, and compliance with professional standards. She plays a key role in monitoring and enhancing the firm’s audit and assurance practices, helping teams deliver high-quality work while navigating an increasingly complex regulatory environment. She also serves on the Peer Review Committee of the Oregon Society of CPAs. 

Sara specializes in serving nonprofit organizations, with extensive experience performing Single Audits. She understands the unique compliance, reporting, and operational challenges these organizations face and provides practical guidance that helps clients meet their objectives while maintaining stakeholder confidence. 

Known for her attention to detail and commitment to excellence, Sara enjoys helping team members strengthen their technical knowledge and professional skills. She believes that investing in people, sharing knowledge, and maintaining rigorous quality standards are essential to delivering meaningful value and trusted service to clients.
