
Tricia Duncan, CPA
Partner & Director of Operations
Tricia Duncan serves as Director of Operations for Jones & Roth, helping guide the firm’s strategic initiatives, operational excellence, and long-term vision. She plays a key leadership role in shaping the firm’s culture and is actively involved in people-focused initiatives, including recruiting, human resources, mentoring, leadership development, succession planning, and team member growth. She is passionate about creating an environment where people can thrive professionally and personally while delivering exceptional service to clients and communities.
Throughout her career, Tricia has been committed to advancing the accounting profession and developing future leaders. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Oregon Society of CPAs and previously served on the Board of the OSCPA Educational Foundation, supporting initiatives that strengthen the profession and create opportunities for emerging accounting professionals.
Tricia also teaches business courses at the University of Oregon, where she enjoys sharing practical business knowledge and real-world experience with the next generation of business leaders. She believes education, mentorship, and lifelong learning are essential to personal growth, professional success, and strong communities.
Known for her collaborative leadership style and commitment to helping others succeed, Tricia values building meaningful relationships with team members, students, professional peers, and community leaders. Whether mentoring an emerging leader, supporting a future CPA, or helping guide firm initiatives, she is passionate about helping people reach their potential and achieve their goals.
An Oregon native and third-generation Eugenian, Tricia is deeply connected to the community she calls home. As part of Jones & Roth’s proudly independent leadership team, she is committed to investing in people, embracing innovation, and strengthening the communities the firm serves. She believes the best outcomes occur when the right people work together with integrity, expertise, and a shared commitment to making a positive impact.
Outside of work, Tricia enjoys traveling, spending time with family, teaching at the University of Oregon, and attending track and field events at Hayward Field. She values opportunities to stay connected to the university community, support student success, and enjoy the people and traditions that make Oregon home.
